The boardwalk crosses the dunes between the parking lot and the Atlantic. Sand collects along its edges and beneath the railings. On the park side, basketballs strike pavement, children move through the playground, and cars pull in and out of spaces carrying chairs, umbrellas, and boards. At the public showers, people rinse away sand and salt before returning to their cars.

Sea grape grows behind sections of fencing, while the boardwalk keeps foot traffic to a narrow route across the dune. Beyond it, people walk the waterline, gulls shift with the wind, and waves break and withdraw across packed sand. Parking, playgrounds, showers, and courts sit just behind the dune, separated from the beach by little more than a boardwalk and a change in elevation.
